In all previous cases independent and fully regulated third-party management companies and investment managers were appointed.
Scope of Role
The Firm has never at any time carried out:
- wealth management activities
- asset management activities
- discretionary portfolio management
- any function in the capacity of an AIFM, UCITS Management Company or any other regulated financial management entity
The Firm’s role has at all times been that of Legal Fund Structurer, Legal Architect of Financial Vehicles and Fund Provider, namely a professional adviser appointed for the legal design, structuring and regulatory engineering of funds and investment vehicles on behalf of third-party clients, who have retained full and independent responsibility for:
- Asset management and investment decisions
- financial risk
- investor relations
- regulatory compliance
- reporting and performance
